When the object becomes a Work of Art...

Exceptional and probably unique pair of Art Nouveau bronze lamps.
Polychrome, with a dark and gilt patina. Circa 1890/1900

Representing 2 naked nymphs in the middle of foliage, on marbled green onyx bases, cut in the shape of rocks.
A wonder for the eyes! Superb and spectacular!

Signed Charles Georges Ferville Suan (1847-1925), famous French sculptor who was a student at the Beaux Arts in Paris and a member of the French Artists Society.

It's up to you to sublimate their insolent beauty.
Re-electrification to be expected; the metal plate under one of the bases needs to be fixed again. Some photos taken in macro magnify the small defects a lot.

Please look carefully at the pictures, they are part of the description.
These lamps measure 51 cm, the sculptures only are approx. 30 cm high.
Total weight of both: 9.3 kg!

Careful and protected shipping.
