Very good condition, see description - 31×5×5 cm

Nice large representative Japanese Imari plate, in very good condition.

The central decoration, in a circle, shows a vessel, on a chequered pedestal with a rich floral arrangement of peonies and cherry blossoms. The main part of the plate is partitioned into three sectors by three blue cobalt vases with flower cartouches . In the sectors, bucolic scenes of fences, flowers, decorative clouds and phoenixes.

On the bottom blue circles , and four hats with ribbons.

Underglazed cobalt blue, overglaze red, orange, green enamels with gilding.

The plate is in very good condition, without cracks and chips, just slightly worn on the upper side.
