Swedish designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson was attracted to the light. For more than 30 years from the '50s onwards, he created original lamps that revolutionized Swedish lighting art. With a background in both the carpentry profession and the world of architecture, it was natural for him to design the light using materials and colors. Hans-Agne Jakobsson's signature is a soft, warm and muted lighting that pleases the eye. Created with classic materials such as glass, organic wood veneers and brass - but also combined with sophisticated fringes in one of the more playful lamp designs that today have icon status. The experiments, the detail and a deep understanding of the many facets of light make each lamp a luminous work of art. Warm Nordic will continuously launch several of Hans-Agne Jakobsson's remarkable designs.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson (1919-2009) is known as a true master of the art of lighting and has left a strong design heritage. Many of the original lamps today are valuable collectibles, which are of great interest at international auctions. Among other things, the legendary Fringe lamp in high graph has achieved icon status on a global scale.
