Handmade 19th century silver salt shaker with glass inner tray.

Quaint barge-shaped model.

The shaker has an exceptionally beautiful shape and decorated with a pearl edge.
Also features 2 sturdy decorated handles.

Stands op 4 ball feet.

Beautifully and fully hallmarked with the silver hallmarks:
Content mark 830
ZII which stands for old pieces of 2nd content silver (inland or foreign) that has returned to the market.
Old Dutch tax label Zwijnskop which was used from 1893 to 1906

Width is 9.3cm and the height is 3.7 cm.

Total weight is 48.6 gr.

The lot is in exceptionally beautiful condition with only a few signs of wear.

The glass insert is immaculate without dents or cracks.

Due to its beautiful shape and detailed finish and decor, it is a striking and particularly decorative object but can also simply be used.
