France

Antique crumb set in papier mâché, made up of a shell-shaped dustpan and a brush. From the late 19th century. Hand painted items. With real gold highlights on a black painted background.

Amazing item in perfect condition.

On a black painted background, five small monks between two temples have been painted with real gold. All of the monks are looking to the left and one of them is pointing to something off-field.

The brush shows four monks on an antique red background; they are playing the flute, combing each others and playing, while two golden dragons and a mythological animal are holding a banner.
Both illustrations follows the rounded shape of the items they have been painted over.

Large sized set.
- Shell-shaped dustpan 31 x 27 cm
- Brush 37 cm.
