Beautiful Art Deco lamp of Aerozon perfume with geometric motifs from around 1930. The socket, cable and plug are original These lamps were used to reduce the smell of smoke in their homes. The lamp was a reservoir for pouring scented oil. When you turn on the lamp, the heat from the bulb warms the oil and the fragrance emanates from the room and provides a very pleasant smell. These perfume lamps came in many different sizes and shapes (animals, sailboats, people...) Most of these lamps came from Germany and there they are known as "Rauchverzehrer". Today, they are collectors’ items. A very nice piece for a modern decoration. When turned on, the transparency of the ceramic enhances the colours and drawings, as shown in the attached photographs.
