This medal is made from metals flown on board Skylab and have travelled over 111 million miles, as it orbited the earth for around 4100 times, over the duration of 270 days.

Text on the medal:

This medallion contains metal that travelled trough space on the world first space station - the US sky-lab - in which astronauts Conrad, Kerwin, Weitz, Bean, Carriott, Lousma, Carr, Gibson, and Pogue. Opened a new era in the uses of space.
May 14 1973 February 6 1974.
