Silver plated Louis XV / Rococo style cutlery - 46 pieces in cassette - Louis XV - Silverplate

Description
Silver plated Louis XV / Rococo style cutlery - 46 pieces in cassette - Louis XV - Silverplate
Germany - Mid 20th century

A fine 46-part silver-plated cutlery set in Louis XV/Rococo-style. Exuberantly decorated with vines, seashells and C- and S-shapes, typical for its style. This set of cutlery has been manufactured around the middle of the 20th century in the German Solingen, and silver-plated based on 100 grams. The cutlery comes in a flat cassette/coffer in which the items can easily be stored.

Consisting of:

- 11 dinner spoons
- 10 dinner forks
- 6 dinner knives
- 12 breakfast forks
- 6 breakfast knives
- 1 sugar spoon

The cutlery is generally in a good condition. It's remarkable that of the dinner spoons, dinner forks and breakfast forks, there are 6 pieces each which have hardly been used. The knives are also in good condition, with some discolouration here and there on the stainless steel blades.

All parts have been marked [100] on the back, as an indication of the silver plating.

This lot is carefully packed and is sent by registered post via parcel post, including Track & Trace.
