Framed in a classic gold-coloured gold-plated Cannelure frame.
Arie de Jager (Dordrecht 1931-2015 - 2015) received his first drawing and painting lessons from his father, Arie Thijs de Jager, at an early age and was further inspired by the Dordrecht impressionist movement.
Many of his works feature the themes of nature, dune landscape, sea and beach views and the Biesbosch. He also painted Dordtsche cityscapes and floral still life.
