Bronze sculpture signed by F. De Luca depicting a water-carrier, with Pompeii-style patina in green shades.
On the back it has a slightly porous white patina that stands out on the colour of bronze. Amphorae are symbols of water and of the city of Naples.
The sculpture is artistically very well made, as are hands, feet and, in particular, the muscles of extraordinary beauty.
Overall good condition as shown in pictures, some small lack on the marble base, stains and some small scratches.
