It depicts the ride of the royal procession on the promenade and it comes from "La Reggia in trionfo..." by Pietro La Placa, a splendid and rare book of feasts illustrated by plates by Giuseppe Vasi, Antonino Bova and Francesco Ciche with the festive decorations of the palaces and monuments of Palermo for the coronation of Carlo Infante of Spain as Sovereign of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies.
Sheet with wide margins, on laid paper, in good condition, only the original folds are visible (see photos).
On bottom right "Cì D. Ioseffo Vasi Corleonese delin. e scul. in Palermo".
The royal procession enters Palermo between two wings of crowds in front of the sea with boats along the shore.
