Wlastimil Hofman (1881–1970)
"Our Father"
An authentic painting by one of the most famous Polish painters of the early twentieth century - Wlastimil Hofman, depicting an elderly man praying. In the vertical composition, the artist depicted a praying man - a bust seen from the left profile, with his head raised slightly upwards, slightly opened mouth and hands folded to prayer. The man is dressed in a burgundy shirt, a jacket, and he wears a medallion with the Mother of God on his neck. His praying face is illuminated by directional warm light, having its source somewhere on the left, outside the composition. The background is a fragment of a landscape with a mountain peak and overcast sky.

Dimensions: 47 x 33 cm, with a frame: 53 x 40 cm Preserved in a very good condition. The work framed in a golden frame with a gently decorated inner and outer edge.
