Hand anemometer made by "Jules Richard", the famous French manufacturer of scientific instruments in the 1940s with number 1897 8, as new, in perfect condition with very few signs of wear.
This anemometer consists of a tube with vanes attached to an axis. A worm screw system transmits the motion of the fins to a dial indicating the number of metres driven by the wind. A second dial, which is used to count the seconds, is also present on this model.
It does not have its original transport box but has a lighter one with more protection.
It is complete, but the little bottle of oil is missing.
It belonged to the company SERRE from Marseille and Matra-Harris Semiconducteurs.
