Antoine-Henry Voisin was born in 1733 as son of the watchmaker Charles Voisin (1685-1761). He was employed in the Rue Dauphine in Paris and became a master in 1755, picking up the business of his father in 1760.

Gold back lid 18 kt . Artistically engraved outer surface. Blossom ray decor and leaves and musical instruments and note sheets in the centre. Very artistic design.
