Diego Monroy (1786–1856) was a Spanish painter, born in Cordoba. He entered the Academy of San Fernando in Madrid under the direction of Mariano Salvador Maella, a painter who influenced all his work. Monroy presents the paralytic in front of the spectator, with his deformities, which will be cured by Christ’s hand, already in motion.
The images are a very important part of the description.
The work is in very good condition, as may be seen in the photographs.
Please consider the frame as a gift. We make a great effort to show the condition of the pieces, including the frames, in the photos, but we can’t accept complaints about frames because they’re not new and, although their condition is very acceptable, they have minimal flaws due to use.
The piece needs custom packaging, included in the shipping costs.
