Beautiful bronze/copper Bibendum Michellin sculpture.
From the 1970s.
Bibendum is the mascot of French tyre manufacturer Michelin and it is also known as the Michelin man. It consists of car tyres and is depicted in a wide variety of poses. The name is derived from the Latin expression ‘nunc est bibendum’, an excerpt from a verse by Horatius and it means ‘to drink’.
