The Compagnie des Montres Longines, Francillon S.A. is a traditional Swiss watchmaker with the oldest registered watch brand in the world. The company traces its roots to a production line that was founded in 1832 in Swiss Saint-Imier, where the company seat is still situated today.
Solid 18 kt open face
pocket watch with stopwatch function and split timing, rattrapante - gold
White enamel dial, Roman numerals, two auxiliary dials for small seconds (at 6 o'clock) and 30-minute counter (at 12 o'clock). Two central stopwatch second hands, inscribed LONGINES above the pointer shaft. Dial is free of damage.
The slave pointer is actuated via the pusher on the casing at 11 o'clock and stopped by pressing the crown pusher.
Time adjustment with needle button at 1 o'clock and simultaneous crown rotation.
Smooth back lid - marked on the inside
Dust lid is missing!
Silver-coloured manufacture movement with anchor escapement. Raised connections in steel - chaton bearings - gold gears.
Movement fully functional.
Diameter approx. 54 mm, with crown 75 mm - height 15 mm - weight 89 g
The watch is in very good general condition and functions very well. Beautiful complication watch for collectors. Just the dust lid is missing.
