Large gold savonette with a heart and A anchor L on the dust lid as the maker's mark. All lids 56 0.585 = 14 kt and with other hallmarks.
Spring lid on the front - polished.
White enamel dial with Arabic numerals - baton indices. Large raised automaton at six o'clock - woman and man. The man moves up and down when the watch is being wound. Filigree steel hands - gold-plated. Dial without flaws.
The time can be adjusted with the slider at four o'clock and turning the crown at the same time.
Golden dust lid inscribed - SYSTEMES NOUVEAUX BREVETES Repetition a Quarts No 2465 medallion GENEVE 1896 and the maker's mark.
Quarter repeater - trigger of the repetition with the button on the casing underneath seven o'clock. The watch strikes on coil gongs. Quarter repeater. The hours are struck with a single strike and the quarter hours with a double strike.
Classic golden Swiss bridge movement with anchor escapement - exposed coil gong and hammers. Manufactured around 1896.
