A collector's watch with repousée casing - displaying a royal scene with three figures.

Complete ornamentation.


Watch with silver repousée (deep relief) casing of very fine and beautiful quality and condition.
Solid casing with a high-quality look. With outer hinge and silver pusher for opening.

Inner casing is also silver.

Fine enamel dial with Roman numerals as well as Arabic minute markers - these together = so-called arcade dial - filigree, richly adorned hands - golden. Release under the dial.
Very well maintained for its age.

Wind-up on the back.

The winding key is included.

Fire gold-plated movement with Dutch construction, inscribed S. Samson London 8364 - fully embellished platine - verge escapement with fusée and chain -
Beautiful angular hands.
Embellishments on the sides - fine unusual round verge cocks. Silver disc for speed regulation.

Movement functions. As it is a collector's item the running time and precision have not been tested.

Watch diameter 51 mm - height 26 mm - total length with pendant 66 mm - 100 g heavy. - Very attractive shape.

Exceptional interesting verge clock with beautiful outer casing in deep relief.
