Rare and antique ivory netsuke depicting Shishi dog on base.
Item from the 18th century.
In very good overall condition, with natural veining of the ivory consistent with age and wear.

This is a Japanese item from the Edo period (circa 1890-1910).
The item was produced prior to 1947, and is therefore in compliance with European Union regulations on ivory trade.
