This Isfahan handmade room size wool and silk carpet is a Prime example of rugs belonging to this period. Measuring 345x235cm (11'3"x7'7"), it has a central Shah Abbasi medallion decorated with detailed arabesques, foliage, and spandrels within similarly floral borders in eye-catching pale white and orange colours in remarkably good condition.
