Patera made of bronze
with a bottom that has been created on the lathe, creating concentric rings. The flat handle part ends in a round, perforated disc and has also been antiquely crafted with the lathe
Paterae were used as sacrificial bowls throughout the Roman Empire. With the bowl, the drink sacrifice and here especially the wine sacrifice were undertaken.

Length with handle: 19.5 cm
Max. diameter: 11.8 cm

Condition: Good condition, expertly restored with few, repaired small holes in the wall. Partial soil encrustation. See photos for a personal assessment.
