Collection of 20 various types of Roman Military slingshot or sling-bullets, made from terracotta / fired clay and stone.

Slingshots were hurled by the soldiers from a small pouch between two lengths of cord. It was a simple, inexpensive but very effective weapon.

Sizes range 17,4 - 50 mm
Weight per piece range: 7,27 - 90,65 g

Condition: good condition, some show signs of being used. See images for own impression.

Purchased by the current owner from a Dutch private collection (P.S., the Netherlands).
