CA. 200-300 AD A magnificent Ancient Roman gold ring; composed of a round-shaped hoop; an integral oval-shaped bezel holding a nice carnelian intaglio stone, engraved with a depiction of a galloping horseman; long script in Ancient greek above him. Very good, wearable condition; Possibly owned by an equestrian soldier.
