Order of the Crown of Italy. In case. Kingdom of Italy. Set of 5 pieces. Great manufacturing and enamels by Raviolo & Gardind Succesori D. Gravanzola Gioiellieri. Rome. It seems to have gold finishes but I'm not sure about that. Elements of Commander and Grand Officer. Good condition (Ordine della Corona d'Italia). Civil and military order of the Kingdom of Italy, created by King Victor Emmanuel II on February 20, 1868, created to commemorate the annexation of the Republic of Venice to Italy. It was awarded to reward Italian and foreign citizens, both Catholic and not, who had performed meritorious deeds for the Nation, the Crown or with the king. It stopped granting in 1946 with the advent of the Italian Republic and the disappearance of the monarchy. Fu premiato per premiare i cittadini italiani e stranieri, sia cattolici che non, che avevano compiuto azioni meritorie per la Nazione, la Corona o con il re. Smise di concedere nel 1946 con l'avvento della Repubblica italiana e la scomparsa della monarchia.
