Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Cornelis Brandenburg' after own design. Cornelis Brandenburg (1883-1954) was a Dutch etcher and draughtsman.

Subject: Antique print, untitled. A large spectacular view of the Dam Square in Amsterdam, with the Royal Palace on the left and the Nieuwe Kerk (New Church).

Condition: Very good, given age. Discolouration from previous matting around the image. A small stain in the top margin. Some imperfections to the sheet edges. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Medium: Etching on hand laid paper. Watermark: Van Gelder Zonen
