Thymiaterion of Daunia
Subgeometric III, early 3rd century BC.
Dimensions: 45 cm high and 13 cm in diameter.
Attached QED Laboratoire thermoluminescent test.

Beige clay with dark brown and red polychrome. Several friezes with ornamental decoration, mainly strips with rhombuses, waves and vines. Few small fragments of the mouth and sectional stripes are missing, otherwise intact. With a copy of the publication!

Provenance: From the private collection of West Germany H.W., acquired in March 2007 from the Münter Collection, Brussels.
