After WWII ended, numerous Hitler Youth knives were re-purposed and even purposely constructed without the Hitler Youth swastika to be Boy Scout knives. This practice continued on into the 1950s. This example is what we believe to be an actual Hitler Youth knife that has had the original blade cut off and a new "unmarked" blade welded on. The Hitler Youth insignia is obviously gone with a Boy Scout flor de lis of the same size placed in the grip. The grip fittings, grips, and crossguard all appear to be original WWII.Not a fancy knife, but one with a fairly unique past.
