Giorgio de Chirico, was born on 10th July 1888, in Volos, Thessaly (Greece) and died on 20th November 1978, in Rome (Italy); he was an Italian painter, sculptor and writer whose works, unanimously admired by the surrealists until 1925, were equally unanimously rejected afterwards. He is one of the founders of the metaphysical painting movement.
World fame. Exhibited in the greatest museums around the world.
