Viking Bimetalic Extraordinary Firestarter with two Fighting Beasts.
Fascinating and exceedingly rare firestarter which ''exceeds'' the role of an usual firestarter for the respective needs with the impressive scene of two fighting beasts (probably panthers). The movements and the tension of the fighting scene are skillfully sculptured as if it is real. The master choose the end of the fight with the deadly bite of the winning animal which is symbolic message to the owner of this beautiful firestarter who should have belonged to the aristocracy according to this luxury firestarter- the common firestarters of the epoch was mostly made only from iron.
Lower part, made of iron as usually is mostly missing due to a corrosion, but the most significant and figurative upper part is very well preserved with a lovely olive green natural patina!
