¶ William Tombleson (1795-1846) was an English draughtsman and engraver who became known for his books with beautiful views of the Rhine. His most important work “Views of the Rhine” was soon published in three languages. The volume offered here has text in French. The book sketches the course of the Rhine from Cologne to Mainz.
