Ancient Roman Silver Spoon with Inscription - 13.1×2.9×1.3 cm
Circa 3rd AD.

A silver spoon with delicate openwork D-shaped volute neck, the handle with baluster detailing and knop finial. The bowl is stamped with the legend “VTEREFELIX”, a good luck message ie 'use (this) with good fortune'.
Supplied with metal display stand.
Very Fine condition; complete and intact.
3rd-4th century AD.
