Romeyn de Hooghe (1645-1708) Dutch painter, sculptor, medal maker, goldsmith, etcher, and publisher. Born in Amsterdam. Working in in 1668 in Paris and from 1687 in Haarlem. A major book illustrator, producing several thousand prints.
