Stamp seal / gable seal, bull and gazelle protome, diorite, L = 43.8 mm
Chalcolithic, 5th - 4th century B C, Northern Levant
Stamp seal with almost square seal surface.
Perforation in the gable along the seal base.
Bovid (bull) with expansive antlers to the left
its bushy tail pulled under its back.
Above, gazelle protome to the right and
cervid’s head (ram / ibex) with wide horn to the left.
Diorite 43.8 mm x 43.8 mm x 13.2 mm
Condition: Intact and uncleaned
