Chest covered with a copper decoration on four sides
Decorated with flowers and leaves on the borders. Multiple finely chiselled details.
Lifting lid with hinges. Romantic scene.
Groups of characters, some of whom playing music. Horses, dogs, landscape.
Front: hunting scene, with several characters, riders and dogs.
Side: a tavern scene, with characters at the table, latticed windows.
Other side: a kitchen scene, with characters, rifle, fireplace.
Copper covered edges. Wood in excellent condition. Casters were mounted on the underside (later added).
The object is in very good condition. A few minor age-related tears. Copper is fixed by nails.
Dimensions: 60 cm long, 52 high, 43 wide. 43 cm deep inside.
