The 82 hectares that give birth to the first wine of Château Hanteillan, a wine bearing the Cru Bourgeois mention, occupy a triple soil, with clay and limestone soils rich in fossils, marl and finally, small fine gravel known as the Méric formation. This diversity is at the origin of the depth and complexity of this wine.
After manual harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and crushed for vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and maturing in oak barrels for a period of 16 to 24 months depending on the vintage.
This is how a round and balanced Haut-Médoc is created with silky tannins, red and black fruits - blackcurrant, blackberry and raspberry.
Wine stored in a cellar away from light and humidity.
