François Mauriac - Œuvres romanesques
Editions Flammarion 1965

Brought together in these four illustrated volumes, all of the novels of this member of the Academie Francaise, Nobel Prize in Literature.
Six great painters: Jean Carzou, Michel Ciry, Jacques Despierre, André Minaux, Roland Oudot, Georges Rohner, have interpreted in paintings Mauriac’s world, giving the scenes and characters a new, strange presence, making the writing all the more bewitching.
