Beautiful bronze sculpture with dark patina, depicting winged Mercury, a famous sculpture by Giambologna.
It rests on a travertine base.
It comes from Italy and can be dated back to the first half of the 20th century.
In good overall state of preservation; the statue can be detached at the point where the foot is connected with the base, shaped like a cherub’s head.
It shows traces of an old repair and welding (see photo no. 29).
The sculpture will be shipped disassembled into two parts.
