Great Couaillet Travel Watch - Golden brass, glass - Late 19th century

Description
Great Couaillet Travel Watch - Golden brass, glass - Late 19th century
Mechanical - 8 day movement - Alarm function

Large English travel clock (18 cm with the handle lifted) and great weight (1.5 kg), with Couaillet movement, in good conditions and with the original escapement. Both the brass and all the bevelled crystals are in quite good conditions, without serious noticeable flaws, as can be seen in the images, which are part of the description. The clock and the alarm work properly. It is provided with the corresponding key.

The elements of the door and the box are identified with the number 23. At the bottom there is a sticker from Andrew Skiba, a company dedicated to the maintenance and repair of clocks in Boston, Lincolnshire, which read dates from 2002 and 2010, suggesting a proper clock maintenance.

Due to environmental reasons, shipping is done by reusing ideal packaging and protection materials. Tracking number is provided.
