André De Dienes was born in 1913 and died in 1985. He was a Hungarian-Romanian photographer, known for his work with Marilyn Monroe, whom he became the friend.
1945 was a particularly significant year for him as he first met and worked with the young woman the whole world would get to know under the name of Marilyn Monroe.
