Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Petrus Schenk' after own design. Pieter/ Petrus Schenk / Schenck the elder (1660-1711/1713) was a German engraver and cartographer active in Amsterdam and Leipzig.

Subject: Antique print, titled: 'Gephali ac Procridis Amores luctuosi.' - (The infidelities of Cephalus and Procris.) Showing Cephalus and Procris with cupid in an architectural garden and Italianate landscape with a pack of hunting dogs.

Condition: Excellent, given age. Some light dampstaining in the margins. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
