Prehistoric, Neolithic Flint Danish flint sickle - 14.5 cm

Flint sickle from the late Neolithic / early Bronze age, found on Northern Zealand, Denmark. The sickle has a repaired fracture, is retouched and has a nice yellowish brown gloss patina.

Material: Flint.
Date: 1800 BC C
Origin: Northern Zealand, Denmark
Dimensions: length 14.5 cm.
Condition: repair fracture (glued), see photos

The supplier warrants that he has obtained this lot legally.
Coming from an old Danish private collection.
For the export of Danish antiquities from Denmark an export licence is required. For this artefact an export permit has been provided by the Danish Commission on the Export of Danish Cultural Assets.
