Rare shrunken head Tsantsa Shuar and Jivaro Indians Ecuador.
Coming off private collection legacy.
Taken to the Netherlands by a missionary in the period 1940.
This original but not human head is prepared and made of animal skin monkey orangutan, natural taxidermy.
Mahogany coloured hairs then smeared with charcoal ash.
This Tsantsa has been checked for authenticity by Elise Trommelen of auction house De Eland.
The head is in very good condition.
Pickup, or will be sent, of course, well packed and registered.
