Ancient Roman Gilded Bronze Disc brooch with Millefiori inlay - (1)
2nd - 3rd century AD

Roman bronze gilded disc brooch, the centre inlaid with multicoloured Millefiori glass inlay, surrounded by linear decorations inside a double ring, 8 small knobs on the outside.

Diameter: 32,9 mm
Weight: 8,1 g

Condition: good solid condition, most of the original gilding still visible, complete with pin (rigid) and catchplate. Signs of wear consistent with age and use. See images for own impression.
