Headrest of the Kongo Yombe ethnic group located on each side of the Congo River, and in two different countries. This type of support is used by the dignitaries of the village.

The female character is represented in a stocky way, a sign of the burden she must bear. The woman's shapes are Cubist, the elbows are stretched outwards and the character is bent.

Hard wood with a honey colour patina. Three brass bullen nails on the seat.
