Artist: François Chevalier
Title: “Naissance d'une passion”
Dimensions: 70 × 65 cm
François Chevalier is an artist and former race car driver. He drove the 24 Hours of Le Mans twice and won the prestigious Luigi Chinetti trophy. He was also the former director of the Circuit Paul Ricard.
François Chevalier is not just another automotive artist; his racing experiences convey an intimate knowledge of the dynamics of race cars and his biggest flaw is that his dominant modesty must be put aside in order for his work to be accessible to a wider audience!
He is also known for his patinated bronzes, see photos (based on a Bugatti 35 GP of 50 × 156 × 60 inches. Sold at auction for more than € 60,000)!
