3 photocopies of the Hindenburg disaster on May 6th 1937 at the naval Airbase Lakeherst NJ. First picture (983) by Murray Becker, second picture (946) by Sam Shere. Third picture (942), German Zeppelin airship 'Hindenburg' moored at Lakehurst, New Jersey, after a transatlantic flight, (1936). The LZ 129 'Hindenburg' was a large German commercial passenger-carrying rigid airship that flew from March 1936 until it was destroyed in a disastrous accident 14 months later on May 6, 1937. The 'Hindenburg' made 17 round trips across the Atlantic in 1936. Artist Unknown.
