Mandau (Sword with Sheath) and Pisau Raut (Little Knife with Sheath)
Used by the Dayak People from the Island of Borneo (Indonesia)
Wooden sheath, painted and ornamented with beads and teeth.
Blade (Mandau) in engraved steel and incrusted brass.
Handle (Mandau) in stag horn.
Length: 67 cm
Length of the blade (Mandau): 42 cm
Length of the blade (Pisau Raut): 6.5 cm.
The wood presents traces of wear on top of the sheath (Madau).
