Very little is known about the Chippewa masks.
The previous owner thinks it symbolizes the "fire".
However, it could also be the " sun " mask !?


Half hard wood type.
Red/white paint and brown oil patina.
Many attachment holes all around.
Restoration above the left eye to the top.
Dry, crusty inside.
Chips at the right edge at the top and at the top.
