O’ Shin is an artist from South Korea working in Belgium. Born in a family of shamanic tradition, she relies intuitively on her Korean heritage.
Through abstract painting she finds focus and other solutions to resonate form when it’s not necessarily based on purely a recognisable subject. O’ Shin seeks to redefine her visual language through each painting, playing with coincidence and intention. The paintings are created with the intention to communicate with our deepest core, of being human, despite she seeks out a more ‘otherwordly’ landscape in her works.
